STEM LEARNING IN MATHS WEEK
During Maths week the Year 6 pupils had an amazing opportunity of a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and GROWTH MINDSET workshop. The children were given the challenge to design and create a shelter that could shelter their group, made from newspapers. The structure needed to be sturdy and secure so that all of their group could sit in it.
Throughout Maths week all the children have been working on different investigations during their maths lessons. They created posters to explain their learning and investigations and discussed them in Collective Worship with the rest of the school. Many children also received certificates for their efforts with RM Maths this week. Well done to you all. We are very proud of you!
